Kāne where ocean gives life
Mani is a fourth-generation master carver who lives on the Big Island of Hawaiʻi with his sons, Jaron and Jordan, who are already continuing the family tradition as fifth-generation carvers.
He also offers hands-on tiki carving tours on the Big Island through Aloha Adventure Farms, where guests can learn traditional carving techniques using a chisel and mallet. These experiences are grounded in culture, craftsmanship, and a deep connection to Hawaiʻi.
Each carving is made from locally sourced koa wood, one of Hawaiʻi’s most prized hardwoods. Every piece is created with care, purpose, and respect for the materials and traditions of Mani’s ʻohana.
His work is meant to carry the spirit of the Big Island, bringing a sense of mana and aloha to the place it eventually calls home.
